We are the pub cyclists
We rode LeJog in June of this year. 1014 miles in 10 days staying and eating in pubs along the way. We are now starting to plan our next ride following our core values....

2011 SFACC Sportive
Another 4 day weekend and a club run on Sat with some extra miles and hills to take it up to 100. Sun tan coming on well. Sunday was a day of rest and Monday was the cycle club sportive, a 72 mile dash to the coast and back with a good few climbs. The wind was brutal, blowing so much there was all sorts of tree debris over the lanes. Thanks to a good group and a super strong guy call Austin, the wind was tamed and we finished in 4hrs 5 mins, average 18mph. This put our group in the Sliver Medals! Certainly won't be doing LEJOG at that pace but it was good fun. It was a slow cycle back to Harrietsham, making a total of 96 miles for the day.
