Oh Christmas has come early. All my Wiggle purchases arrived today and I was like a wee boy in a sweetie shop. £1000 worth of cycle accessaries took about 5 minutes to take out the boxes. Carbon soled shoes, SPD SL pedals, gator skin tyres, cassettes, chain, pump, sunglasses, energy food, salt tablets, skinny top and Assos bib shorts. If I do not go faster then it is all going back to Wiggle. There was just the one little hiccup, the Assos shorts come with a bum cream and a washing liquid sample. Unfortunately I did not read which was which and rubbed the washing liquid on my nether regions. Now, the burning sensation I should have taken notice of but it took the stream of bubbles coming from my behind to make me realise my mistook! Now my bum don't sit too well on the Brooks and I am looking for a second hand aircraft seat to relax in...........
Training wise it starts to get ramped up now. I need to take my son to Heathrow on Saturday so it looks like I will be riding back to the Lynn from London. I might not make it but at least I am going to look the dogs doodah in all my gear.
