We are the pub cyclists

We rode LeJog in June of this year. 1014 miles in 10 days staying and eating in pubs along the way. We are now starting to plan our next ride following our core values....

Pub Training

This week has been more about pub training and less about cycling training. I think my best tactic on the ride will be to keep Dave and Si up late in the pub as 18mpm averagte is flat out for me...

A quick 65 miles Sat morning was all I fitted in before driving up to Manchester for a night out and a visit to Old Trafford to see Chelsea humiliated. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was the loudest and best match I have ever seen. See me above with the United Legend Andy Cole before the match!!!

A Sunday night meeting over a curry and a meeting in Manchester on Monday means Tues morning before work will be a quick 25 miles and the first since Sat. Working locally the rest of the week but Donna away Fri-Mon so rides will be short whilst the In-Laws look after the kids for a couple of hours so I can get out on the bike.

All accomadation booked except Invergordon- this may need a re think as the planned stop off called the ship inn looks nothing like a pub on google street view.
