We are the pub cyclists

We rode LeJog in June of this year. 1014 miles in 10 days staying and eating in pubs along the way. We are now starting to plan our next ride following our core values....

a short weekend

I did a 45 mile on Friday and averaged a smidge over 19mph, so with a tail wind I should just about be able to keep up with Dave.
A busy day on Saturday meant no cycling and another busy Sunday meant I had a shorter than planned ride, just under 60 miles. During the last 10 miles of the ride I followed the route of a local charity bike ride. Hundreds of people all on bikes that look like they come out of the shed only for an annual specail occasion. So for the next 15 minutes I felt like Lance Armstrong, zipping by all of them.

I might change my mind in about 3 weeks time, but I am at the point where I feel ready for the ride.
